◢ Cheat Sheet / Quick-Start
Get great output from any AI.
How to use the library, plus the handful of moves that separate a useful answer from a generic one. Works with whatever AI tool you already use.
◢ How the library works
Pick a template
Choose the one built for your task. Every template is a finished, expert prompt with the blanks marked.
Fill the blanks
Answer the short worksheet. Each box tells you what goes in it. No prompt-engineering needed.
Copy it out
Copy the assembled two-page prompt and paste it into the AI tool you already use. No AI runs here.
◢ The moves that matter
Five things that fix most prompts.
- 01
Be specific, not vague
Name the real subject. “Instagram Reels for a budgeting app,” not “social media.” The narrower the input, the sharper the output.
- 02
Give it the real context
Paste the actual filing, numbers, transcript, or draft. Don’t make the AI guess what it can’t see, it will fill the gap with something plausible and wrong.
- 03
Structure the request
Separate your instructions from your data with clear sections or tags, so the AI never mistakes the content for a command.
- 04
Ask for the exact output
Name the format: a table with these columns, this length, this order. Don’t leave the shape to chance.
- 05
Treat the first answer as a draft
Tell it what to fix. “Tighten the second paragraph, drop the hedging, show your math.” Two rounds beats one.
Do
- Paste real data, numbers, and examples
- Name the output format you want
- On hard tasks, ask it to show its reasoning
- Tell it what to avoid (tone, phrases, claims)
Don’t
- Ask one vague line and hope
- Accept invented numbers or sources
- Expect it to read your mind
- Settle for the first draft
A finished, reusable prompt beats re-typing the same ask every time. That is the whole point. Time is money.
